TINA

Appointment Coordinator

Tina has been with Dr. Hanawalt since 2006, bringing with her over 25 years of dental experience. Her caring personality greets you with your first phone call and her smile bids you farewell. Tina works diligently to coordinate both Dr. Hanawalt’s and Dr. Peri’s patient schedule as well as the schedule for our hygiene department. She works hard to efficiently maximize patient and provider time. Her calm and friendly demeanor puts our patients at ease. Tina enjoys traveling, hiking, going to concerts and movies, and trying out new restaurants with her husband and 2 children.

SHELBY

Registered Dental Hygienist

Shelby has been in the dental field for over 15 years. She started out as a registered dental assistant and went back to school to complete her degree in hygiene. She has 2 beautiful daughters with whom she loves to spend time. An avid hiker, Shelby can be found in many local hiking hot spots. Perhaps you have run into her!!

MELISSA

Registered Dental Hygienist

Melissa, who is also affectionately known to most patients as “Missy”, started her hygiene career in 2002 after graduating from Pasadena City College, following in her aunt’s footsteps. Prior to hygiene, she was also a Dental Assistant. Missy has been one of Dr. Hanawalt’s hygienists since 2020 and enjoys educating patients in periodontal therapy and ways to maintain a healthy mouth. She is always eager to continue her education and keep our patients informed of the latest dental care products. Missy has two daughters. When she isn’t working, she may be found puttering in her garden, working out, or enjoying a day at the beach.

JENNIFER

Registered Dental Assistant

Jennifer has enjoyed working with Dr. Hanawalt since 1994. As an RDA she has used every opportunity to expand her dental knowledge and apply her amazing talents in patient care. Jennifer’s bubbly personality and smiling face are well known and loved by our patients. She enjoys interaction and sharing with patients while providing top notch dentistry. Jennifer has two sons and enjoys watching them participate in water polo as well as taking weekend camping trips.

JANENE

Registered Dental Assistant

Janene has been in the dental assisting field for numerous years. She enjoys being a registered dental assistant and interacting with both Doctors and patients. Her calm demeanor has a positive effect on all who come to our office, including the staff! In her spare time Janene loves spending time with her husband and 3 girls.

CAROLE

Registered Dental Assistant

Carole has been in the dental field over 30 years since graduating from Chaffey College. She has an absolute wealth of knowledge in dentistry and has been with the office since 2000. Carole can be found humming her favorite tunes throughout the day. Her calm approach puts our patients at ease. Carole enjoys all aspects of dental assisting and patient care.

Carole has one daughter and two grandchildren. She enjoys her time with them as well as singing and traveling.
